About Veda Horner
Veda Horner was born in Welland, Ontario, Canada but lived most of her life in beautiful British Columbia. She lives with her 90-year old mother who inspires Veda with her energy and love of life.
Veda made a life-changing trip to Africa to work as a volunteer and knew that life had more to offer her than a government pension that might or might not still be there when she was ready to retire. She knew that if she didn’t make a change, she would have to live with the regret of never knowing all that life had to offer. She was tired of standing on the inside looking out at life.
A Commitment To Helping Others
Veda Horner is a country girl at heart who loves animals, especially her Jack Russell, Oxford. She has had many pets over the course of her life, including horses, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats, and even a sheep. Veda has spent much of her life caring for others. As a veterinary tech, she has provided care to countless beloved pets. It’s no wonder that even as Veda has discovered the power of living life to its fullest that she still believes in helping others. She is committed to helping others learn how refreshing and invigorating it can be to live life and not let it pass you by.
